Delete your ProperLink account

You can delete your ProperLink account and the personal information associated with it at any time, using either of the methods below.

Option 1 — in the app (fastest)

1. Open the ProperLink app and sign in.
2. Go to Account → Settings.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately. Any job that is still in progress — including jobs awaiting your review — must be completed or cancelled first, and any unpaid cleaner earnings or pending payout requests must be settled.

Option 2 — request by email

Email hello@properlink.ai with the subject “Account deletion request” and include the phone number you signed up with. We may contact you to verify your identity before actioning the request. We action deletion requests within 30 days. Administrator accounts are managed internally — contact us to close one.

What is deleted, and what is kept

When your account is deleted, your profile is de-identified: your name, phone number and email address are removed, your profile photo is removed from your profile, and you are signed out of all devices.

We keep information that we must retain by law or reasonably need for fraud prevention, financial records, tax, chargebacks or unresolved disputes — records of completed jobs and payment transactions, including photos uploaded to those jobs, are retained — no longer linked to your name, phone number or email — for up to 7 years in line with Australian financial record-keeping requirements, and are then deleted.
